This work is characterized by a method that involves studying the context of the exhibition space. I collect stories and materials to build installations, which, in some cases, are laid out as interactive spaces and generate content commenting on the collected information.
The intervention, Copy of a Fractured Model, is based on the history of this space as the old Museum of Museums (Colsubsidio), where the exhibition and collection of art reproductions served as an educational and communicational tool at a time when there was limited access to images and cultural production in Colombia, and the current globalized information network did not exist (1960s).
The works shown have devices that allude to the copying methods used throughout art's history. Also, the central work is used to preserve the Museo del Prado reproductions included in the (Museo de Arte y Cultura Colsubsidio) collection, which continue to be used in thematic pedagogical exhibitions.
